Biography
Nora Arnezeder, a talented French actress and singer, was born in Paris, France, to a diverse heritage—her father, Wolfgang, hails from Austria and follows Catholicism, while her mother, Piera, is of Egyptian Jewish descent. At just two years old, Arnezeder relocated with her family to Aix-en-Provence, and by the age of fourteen, she spent a transformative year in Bali before returning to Paris to pursue her passion for dance and music.
Arnezeder's career took off in 2008 with her performance in the film *Paris 36* (French: *Faubourg 36*), directed by Christophe Barratier. In this role, she showcased her vocal talents by singing "Loin de Paname," which garnered an Academy Award nomination for Best Original Song at the 82nd Oscars. Her rising fame led her to become the face of Guerlain's fragrance "L'Idylle" in 2009.
In 2012, she expanded her filmography with notable performances in *Safe House*, sharing the screen with Ryan Reynolds, and *The Words*, where she starred alongside Ben Barnes as Celia. Arnezeder also demonstrated her versatility in the horror genre with her role in the slasher film *Maniac*, featuring Elijah Wood.
