Biography

Yoshimasa Hosoya, a prominent Japanese voice actor and singer hailing from Hiroshima, has made significant contributions to the anime industry. Initially affiliated with Mausu Promotion, he has transitioned to a freelance career. Alongside fellow voice actor Toshiki Masuda, he was part of the pop duo MaxBoys, showcasing his musical talent.

Hosoya has garnered recognition for his outstanding voice performances, earning the Best Supporting Actor award at the Seiyu Awards in both 2014 and 2016. His extensive repertoire includes memorable roles in popular anime series such as Kojou Akatsuki in "Strike the Blood," Reiner Braun in "Attack on Titan," and Fumikage Tokoyami in "My Hero Academia." Additionally, he has lent his voice to characters like Tamaki Katagiri in "Black Bullet," Shichika Yasuri in "Katanagatari," Daryun in "The Heroic Legend of Arslan," Belial in "Granblue Fantasy," and Orga Itsuka in "Mobile Suit Gundam: Iron-Blooded Orphans."
