Rizwan Manji
Biography
Rizwan Manji, born on October 17, 1974, stands at 5' 7" (1.70 m) and is a talented Indo-Canadian actor best known for his portrayal of Rajiv in the NBC Universal comedy series "Outsourced," which has since been canceled.
Manji's journey began in Toronto, Canada, where his Indian parents settled after immigrating from Tanzania. He grew up in an Ismaili Muslim household, a faith he holds dear and that plays a significant role in his life. His formative years were spent in Calgary, Alberta, where he attended Crescent Heights High School. Seeking to further his artistic pursuits, he later moved to the United States to study at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy.
Throughout his career, Manji has taken on various roles in film and television, including notable appearances in series like "Privileged," "Better Off Ted," and "24." In 2010, he auditioned for the part of Gupta in "Outsourced" but ultimately lost the role to Parvesh Cheena. However, the producers recognized his talent and cast him as Rajiv, the cunning assistant manager, which became a defining role in his career. Currently, Rizwan Manji resides in Studio City, California, enjoying family life with his wife and two children.
