Daniel Wroughton Craig, born on March 2, 1968, is a renowned English actor celebrated for his portrayal of the iconic secret agent James Bond. He captivated audiences worldwide through five films in the franchise: Casino Royale (2006), Quantum of Solace (2008), Skyfall (2012), Spectre (2015), and No Time to Die (2021).

Craig honed his craft at the National Youth Theatre in London and graduated from the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in 1991. His career commenced on stage, and he made his film debut in The Power of One (1992). Craig rose to prominence with his role in the acclaimed drama serial Our Friends in the North (1996), and he garnered attention for supporting performances in notable films such as Elizabeth (1998), Lara Croft: Tomb Raider (2001), Road to Perdition (2002), Layer Cake (2004), and Munich (2005).
