Lisa Crittenden is an Australian actress best remembered for her extensive work in television drama during the 1980s and early 1990s. She first gained recognition playing Briony Thompson on *The Restless Years* (1981), followed by a role as Sally Meredith on the classic war-era series *The Sullivans*. Crittenden then joined the cast of the iconic prison drama *Prisoner* (known internationally as *Prisoner: Cell Block H*), portraying inmate Maxine Daniels from 1982 to 1983.

She continued to be a familiar face on Australian screens, appearing as Leigh Palmer on the popular soap opera *Sons and Daughters* (1985–86) and taking a guest role on the legal series *Rafferty's Rules* (1988). In the early 1990s, Crittenden expanded her reach across the Tasman, starring as Carrie Burton on the New Zealand medical soap *Shortland Street* (1992–93).

After a prolific run in front of the camera, Crittenden stepped away from the entertainment industry in 2003. She transitioned into public service, taking a position with Local State Government, where she has worked ever since.
