Linda Darnell (October 16, 1923 – April 10, 1965) was a notable American actress who captivated audiences during the golden age of Hollywood. Darnell began her career as a model in her childhood, transitioning into theater and film acting as a teenager. Encouraged by her mother, she made her film debut in 1939 and quickly secured supporting roles in several high-profile productions at 20th Century Fox throughout the 1940s.

Her breakthrough came through her performances alongside Tyrone Power in adventure films, which helped solidify her status as a leading actress. Darnell achieved significant acclaim for her roles in prestigious films such as *Forever Amber* (1947), *Unfaithfully Yours* (1948), and *A Letter to Three Wives* (1949), showcasing her talent and versatility.
