Biography

Aisha Jamila Hinds, born on November 13, 1975, is a talented American actress recognized for her diverse roles in both television and film. She embarked on her acting journey in 2003 with a role in the acclaimed series NYPD Blue. The following year, she joined the cast of The Shield as Annie Price, which marked the beginning of her ascent in the industry. Hinds has made guest appearances in numerous popular shows, including Crossing Jordan, Boston Legal, It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Stargate SG-1, Cold Case, and Desperate Housewives.

Her television career features notable regular roles in the short-lived ABC series Invasion (2005-2006) and Detroit 1-8-7 (2010-2011). Hinds also had recurring parts in series such as Dollhouse, HawthoRNe, True Blood, and Cult.

In the realm of film, she has showcased her talent in productions like Mr. Brooks, Madea Goes to Jail, Unstoppable, and Star Trek Into Darkness. In 2013, her portrayal of the villainous Rosalind Sakelik on the CW series Cult gained her further recognition.
