Biography

Alecia Beth Moore, widely recognized by her stage name Pink (stylized as P!nk), was born on September 8, 1979. Renowned as an American singer-songwriter and musician, Pink made her mark on the music industry with the release of her debut single, "There You Go," in 2000, taken from her R&B-influenced album, *Can't Take Me Home*, released under LaFace Records. The track achieved significant commercial success, paving the way for her subsequent projects.

In 2001, Pink shifted her musical direction with the launch of her second album, *Missundaztood*, which showcased a pop-rock style and became a global hit. Her third album, *Try This*, followed in November 2003, selling approximately 3 million copies and earning her a Grammy Award for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance for the song "Trouble." Her 2006 album, *I'm Not Dead*, featured popular singles such as "Stupid Girls" and "U + Ur Hand," both of which topped the pop charts.

Pink's fifth studio effort, *Funhouse*, released in October 2008, included her first solo number one hit on the Billboard Hot 100, "So What," along with other successful tracks. In 2010, she released her compilation album, *Greatest Hits... So Far!!!*
