Vincent Peter Jones, born on January 5, 1965, is a renowned British actor, television presenter, and former professional footballer. His football career spanned from 1984 to 1999, where he made his mark primarily as a defensive midfielder. Jones played for several clubs, including Wimbledon, Leeds United, Sheffield United, Chelsea, and Queens Park Rangers. He is particularly celebrated for his tenure at Wimbledon, where he was a vital member of the legendary "Crazy Gang." Jones helped secure the FA Cup in 1988, contributing to over 200 matches for the club during two separate stints between 1986 and 1998. Over his career, he appeared in 184 Premier League games, netting 13 goals. His aggressive playing style earned him a reputation as one of football's toughest competitors, which later influenced his casting in film roles as menacing characters.
