H.M. Wynant, born on February 12, 1927, in Detroit, Michigan, is a distinguished American actor known for his extensive work in film and television. Throughout his career, he has been featured in a variety of popular television series, including notable appearances on "Playhouse 90," "Hawaiian Eye," "The Wild Wild West," "Perry Mason," "Gunsmoke," "Get Smart," "Hawaii Five-O," "Mission: Impossible," and "Dallas."
Perhaps one of his most iconic roles was in the "Twilight Zone" episode titled "The Howling Man." Wynant not only made a significant mark on the series but also returned years later for several radio productions, including a reprise of the character from "Of Late I Think of Cliffordville," originally portrayed by Albert Salmi.
