Kemal Sunal (November 11, 1944 – July 3, 2000) was a beloved Turkish actor and comedian, renowned for his remarkable contributions to cinema. He became a household name through iconic films such as **Hababam Sınıfı** (The Outrageous Class), **Kapıcılar Kralı** (The King of the Doormen), and **Davaro**, where he often portrayed his memorable character "Şaban."
Sunal's educational journey began at Vefa Lisesi (Vefa High School), after which he embarked on a dynamic acting career. He initially took on minor roles in various theaters, honing his craft at Kenterler Theatre and debuting in the play **Zoraki Tabip**. His talent quickly caught the attention of producers, leading him to the Devekuşu Kabare Theatre where he further developed his skills.
His breakthrough came with the film **Tatlı Dillim**, directed by Ertem Eğilmez, which opened the door to larger productions and collaborations with notable actors such as Halit Akçatepe, Şener Şen, and Münir Özkul. Sunal's portrayal of İnek Şaban in **Hababam Sınıfı** became legendary; the character, often bullied yet endearingly optimistic, resonated deeply with audiences.
