Ken Marino is a multifaceted American actor, comedian, director, and screenwriter, born on December 19, 1968, in Long Island, New York, into an Italian-American family. His early education took place at West Islip High School, followed by advanced training at the Lee Strasberg Institute and Tisch School of the Arts at New York University.

Marino's professional journey kicked off as a prominent member of MTV's sketch comedy troupe, The State, which aired from 1993 to 1995.
