Darby Hinton, born on August 19, 1957, is a notable American actor and filmmaker whose journey in the entertainment industry began at a remarkably young age. He was first cast in commercials when he was just six months old, showcasing his early talent. Hinton gained significant recognition for his role as Israel Boone, the son of the legendary American pioneer Daniel Boone, on the NBC adventure series "Daniel Boone," which aired from 1964 to 1970. Starring alongside Fess Parker, who played the titular character, Hinton's performance contributed to the show's popularity during its run.
In addition to his work on "Daniel Boone," Hinton also appeared in the two-part episode titled "Boomerang, Dog of Many Talents" within NBC's "Walt Disney's Wonderful World of Color" in 1968.
