Hinton gained significant recognition for his role as Israel Boone, the son of the legendary American pioneer Daniel Boone, on the NBC adventure series "Daniel Boone," which aired from 1964 to 1970. Starring alongside Fess Parker, who played the titular character, Hinton's performance contributed to the show's popularity during its run.
