Shirley Henderson, born on November 24, 1965, is a celebrated Scottish actress renowned for her versatile performances across film, television, and theater. Throughout her career, she has garnered numerous accolades, including two Scottish BAFTAs, a VFCC Award, and an Olivier Award, along with nominations from prestigious organizations like BAFTA, BIFA, and the London Critics' Circle.

Henderson gained fame with her memorable performances in iconic films such as "Trainspotting" (1996) and its sequel, "Trainspotting 2" (2017), where she portrayed the character Gail. She also played Jude in the beloved "Bridget Jones" series (2001–2025) and brought to life the enchanting Moaning Myrtle in the "Harry Potter" franchise, appearing in "Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets" (2002) and "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" (2005).
