Iben Hjejle
Biography
Iben Hjejle, born on March 22, 1971, in Copenhagen, is a celebrated Danish actress recognized for her compelling performances in both film and television. She gained international attention for her role alongside John Cusack in the 2000 film "High Fidelity." In her home country, Hjejle is particularly renowned for her work in the beloved sitcom "Langt fra Las Vegas" (Far from Las Vegas) and for portraying the girlfriend of comedian Casper Christensen, who was also her former partner, in the show "Klovn" (Clown).
Her filmography boasts a variety of Danish productions, including a notable Dogme film and popular action titles like "Gamle mænd i nye biler" (Old Men in New Cars). In 2001, she took on the role of Queen Sofia Magdalena in the acclaimed SVT period drama "Gustav III:s äktenskap" (The Marriage of Gustav III).
