Julian Richings
Biography
Julian Richings, born on August 30, 1956, is a versatile British-Canadian character actor renowned for his extensive work in film and television, having featured in over 225 productions. He honed his craft at the University of Exeter before establishing his career in the UK. In 1984, he relocated to Toronto, where he continued to flourish as an actor. Richings is well-known for his roles in the cult series Todd and the Book of Pure Evil, where he portrayed both the Hooded Leader and Atticus Murphy Senior. Beyond television, he is an accomplished stage performer; in February 2016, he starred in Kat Sandler's play Mustard at Tarragon Theatre. Additionally, from 2015 to 2018, he took on the character Peter Icabod in the series Patriot, showcasing his range and talent in the performing arts.
