David Warshofsky, originally born David Warner, is a talented American actor known for his diverse roles across film and television. He honed his craft at the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts in New York City and chose to adopt his family's Russian surname upon joining The Actor's Equity Association, solidifying his commitment to his acting career.
Warshofsky's breakout performance came in 1989 with "Last Exit to Brooklyn," marking the beginning of a prolific career. He showcased his versatility in various television series, from the gadget-filled sitcom "Home Improvement" (ABC, 1991-1999) to the medical drama "Chicago Hope" (CBS, 1994-2000).
His filmography is marked by a unique blend of relatable charm and quiet intensity, with memorable roles such as the Navy SEAL instructor in "G.I. Jane" (1997), a subdued detective in "The Bone Collector" (1999), a ruthless oil executive in "There Will Be Blood" (2007), and a seasoned CIA operative in the "Taken" trilogy.
