Elise Gatien
Biography
Elise Gatien hails from Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada, where she was born and raised. With a diverse background that includes German heritage from her father's side, she showcased her talent early, stepping into the spotlight at just four years old. Her formative years were spent honing her skills in dance and musical theater, which laid the foundation for her future in the entertainment industry.
Gatien's big break came when she was spotted at a talent and modeling convention, leading her to pursue opportunities in Asia. Her television career took off in 2009 when she portrayed Mia Dearden in two episodes of the iconic series *Smallville*. Her impressive resume includes appearances in popular shows such as *Supernatural*, *Bionic Woman*, *Eureka*, and *The Guard*, as well as roles in films like *In the Land of Women* and *Dr. Dolittle: Tail to the Chief*.
In 2010, she took on the role of CJ Ward in the live-action series *Tower Prep* on Cartoon Network. Although she was cast in The CW's 2012 pilot *The Selection*, based on Kiera Cass's novels, the show did not proceed to series. More recently, in 2015, Gatien starred as Jamie in the homage to 1980s horror, *Lost After Dark*, further solidifying her place in the film industry.
