Biography
Rupert Evans, born on March 9, 1977, in Staffordshire, England, is a distinguished English actor known for his extensive work in television and film. He received his education at Milton Abbey School in Dorset before honing his craft at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art.
Evans has made a significant mark on British television, with notable roles in various series. He gained recognition for his performances in the BBC sitcom *My Family*, as well as in the adaptations of *Crime and Punishment* alongside John Simm and *North and South*. His comedic talents shone in ITV's *High Stakes*, featuring Richard Wilson, and he was part of the cast in the BBC drama *Paradise Heights* with Neil Morrissey.
His cinematic breakthrough came in 2004 when he portrayed FBI Agent John Myers in Guillermo del Toro's film adaptation of the comic book *Hellboy*, which showcased his ability to transition between genres.
