Anne Meara (September 20, 1929 – May 23, 2015) was a celebrated American actress and comedian. She rose to prominence in the 1960s as part of the comedy duo Stiller and Meara, performing alongside her husband, Jerry Stiller. Their shared talent for humor and performance made them a beloved act of the era. The couple’s legacy is continued through their son, Ben Stiller, who has made a name for himself as an actor, director, and producer.
