Biography
Adepero Oduye is a talented actress from Brooklyn, New York, with Nigerian roots. She completed her education at Cornell University, where she cultivated her passion for acting. Her training includes mentorship under esteemed figures such as Wynn Handman, Austin Pendleton, and Susan Batson. The pronunciation of her name is "Add-eh-pair-o Oh-due-yay."
Oduye has made significant contributions to the theater scene, showcasing her talents in notable productions. She appeared in Danai Gurira's acclaimed play *Eclipsed* at the Yale Repertory Theatre, and her performances in *The Bluest Eye* at Hartford Stage and Long Wharf Theatres further solidified her reputation.
