Kim Delaney, born on November 29, 1961, is a prominent American actress best recognized for her acclaimed portrayal of Detective Diane Russell in the ABC drama series NYPD Blue, a performance that earned her an Emmy Award. Delaney's career began with a notable role as Jenny Gardner in the beloved daytime drama All My Children, which helped establish her as a talented actress in the industry.
She continued to make her mark with leading roles in the short-lived series Philly and made memorable appearances in the first season of CSI: Miami.
