Biography
Finn Wittrock, born on October 28, 1984, is a versatile American actor celebrated for his portrayal of Damon Miller in three seasons of the soap opera "All My Children" (ABC/Hulu/OWN, 1970-2013). Growing up in a family deeply passionate about theater in both Massachusetts and Los Angeles, Wittrock took the initiative to pursue acting independently after finishing high school. Subsequently, he enrolled in the renowned drama program at the Juilliard School in New York City. His early career included guest appearances on popular series such as "Cold Case" (CBS, 2003-2010), "ER" (NBC, 1994-2009), and "CSI: Miami" (CBS, 2002-2012), all while he continued to enhance his skills through various theatrical performances in New York and Los Angeles.
Wittrock's career took a significant turn in 2009 when he was cast as the young Casanova Damon Miller on "All My Children," where he showcased his talents over three seasons before transitioning back to theater in 2012. He starred alongside Philip Seymour Hoffman in a critically acclaimed revival of "Death of a Salesman," directed by Mike Leigh, earning accolades for his role as Harold "Happy" Loman. After the play concluded in spring 2012, Wittrock returned to television, taking on a recurring role as Dale in the period drama "Masters of Sex" (Showtime, 2013- ), while also appearing in notable films like "Noah" (2014) and "Winter's Tale" (2014). In 2014, he further expanded his repertoire by acting in the HBO film "The Normal Heart" and an episode of "American Horror Story" (FX, 2011- ), collaborating with writer/director Ryan Murphy on two distinct projects within the same year.
