John Howard Gallagher Jr. (born June 17, 1984) is a celebrated American actor and musician, best recognized for his groundbreaking role as Moritz Stiefel in the acclaimed rock musical Spring Awakening, a performance that garnered him a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor in a Musical.
