Raghubir Yadav, also known as Raghuvir Yadav, is a versatile Indian actor celebrated for his work across film, television, and theatre, as well as his talents in music composition, singing, and set design. His cinematic journey began with the film "Massey Sahib" in 1985, where he took on the lead role. This performance earned him significant recognition, culminating in two prestigious International Awards for Best Actor: the FIPRESCI Critic's Award at the Venice Film Festival in 1986 and the Silver Peacock Award for Best Actor at the 11th International Film Festival of India in 1987. The film also featured the renowned writer and activist Arundhati Roy. Raghubir Yadav is a proud graduate of the National School of Drama in New Delhi, from the 1977 cohort. His varied career spans multiple disciplines within the performing arts, showcasing his dynamic range as an artist.
