Biography
Richard Lynch is a renowned Welsh actor celebrated for his role as Garry Monk in the enduring Welsh-language soap opera "Pobol y Cwm," which airs on S4C. His work in this series has made him a familiar face in Welsh television.
Lynch's educational journey began at Ysgol Gyfun Rhydfelen in Pontypridd, followed by his graduation in Drama from Aberystwyth University in 1987. In recognition of his contributions to the arts, he was honored with a Fellowship from Aberystwyth University in 2013.
His acting career took off in 1986 with his portrayal of young soldier Will Thomas in Karl Francis' film "Milwr Bychan."
