Sonu Sood is a prominent Indian actor, model, and producer renowned for his performances in Hindi, Telugu, and Tamil cinema, with appearances in Kannada and Punjabi films as well. His journey in the film industry has been marked by significant accolades and memorable roles.
Sood first gained recognition for his compelling performance in the 2009 Telugu hit, *Arundhati*, earning him the Andhra Pradesh State Nandi Award for Best Villain and the Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor – Telugu. His portrayal of a formidable antagonist in the 2010 blockbuster *Dabangg* further solidified his reputation, earning him both the Apsara Award and the IIFA Award for Best Performance in a Negative Role. In 2012, he added to his accolades with the SIIMA Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role for his work in *Julayi*.
Beyond acting, Sonu ventured into production in July 2016 by founding Shakti Sagar Productions, a tribute to his father, Shakti Sagar.
