David John Tennant, born on April 18, 1971, in Scotland, is a distinguished actor renowned for his captivating performances across television, film, and stage. He gained widespread acclaim for his role as the tenth Doctor in the beloved sci-fi series Doctor Who, which aired from 2005 to 2010 and saw his return as the fourteenth Doctor in 2022. Tennant's dynamic acting portfolio also includes notable roles such as DI Alec Hardy in the acclaimed crime drama Broadchurch (2013–2017) and the villainous Kilgrave in the superhero series Jessica Jones (2015–2019).
