Andrew Lincoln, born Andrew James Clutterbuck on September 14, 1973, is a renowned English actor. He first made a significant impact on television with his role as Egg in the BBC drama This Life, which aired from 1996 to 1997. Following this, Lincoln showcased his comedic talent as Simon Casey in the Channel 4 sitcom Teachers from 2001 to 2003. He also played Mark in the beloved Christmas movie Love Actually in 2003 and starred as Dr. Robert Bridge in the ITV supernatural drama Afterlife from 2005 to 2006.
Lincoln’s career reached new heights in 2010 when he took on the iconic role of Rick Grimes in the acclaimed AMC series The Walking Dead, a post-apocalyptic horror drama that garnered a massive global following.
