Robert Norman Reiner, born on March 6, 1947, is a prominent figure in American cinema, both as an actor and director. He gained widespread recognition for his role as Michael "Meathead" Stivic on the iconic CBS sitcom All in the Family, which aired from 1971 to 1979. His portrayal earned him two Primetime Emmy Awards, solidifying his status in the entertainment industry.

As a filmmaker, Reiner's directorial talents have been acknowledged with multiple nominations from the Directors Guild of America, particularly for his work on notable films like the coming-of-age classic Stand by Me (1986), the beloved romantic comedy When Harry Met Sally...
