Edna Purviance (October 21, 1895 – January 11, 1958) was a prominent American actress who became a notable figure during the silent film era. Best known for her collaborations with legendary filmmaker Charlie Chaplin, Purviance played the leading lady in numerous films that showcased her talent and charm.
