Glenn Fitzgerald
Biography
Glenn Fitzgerald, born on December 21, 1971, is an accomplished American actor recognized for his extensive body of work, which includes over 30 appearances in film and television. Notably, he portrayed Sean in the acclaimed film The Sixth Sense. His filmography also features roles in Series 7: The Contenders, Neal Cassady, Confess, Flirting With Disaster, and 40 Days and 40 Nights.
In addition to his film roles, Fitzgerald has made a mark in theater, notably starring in Kenneth Lonergan's play Lobby Hero. He appeared in the TV series Dirty Sexy Money alongside Peter Krause, with whom he had previously collaborated in three episodes of season two of Six Feet Under. In both Dirty Sexy Money and Series 7: The Contenders, he shared the screen with actress Brooke Smith. He was also featured in Buffalo Soldiers, playing the character Hicks, who operates a tank.
Fitzgerald gained further recognition as Natalie Imbruglia's romantic interest in her 1998 summer hit "Wishing I Was There," with the music video directed by renowned filmmaker Alison Maclean.
From November 6 to December 13, 2009, he took on the role of "Alan" in the world premiere of Melissa James Gibson's play THIS at Playwrights Horizons in New York, alongside Julianne Nicholson.
Originally hailing from Brooklyn, New York, Fitzgerald's striking features led him to a successful modeling career with Calvin Klein during the late 1980s and early 1990s before he transitioned to character roles in critically acclaimed independent films, becoming a regular presence at the Sundance Film Festival.
