Cherry Jones, born on November 21, 1956, is a distinguished American actress renowned for her powerful performances across stage, film, and television. She began her artistic journey in theater, becoming a founding member of the American Repertory Theatre in 1980, where she honed her craft before making the leap to film and television.

A pivotal moment in her career arrived with her Broadway debut in the 1987 production of Stepping Out.
