Matthew David McConaughey, born on November 4, 1969, is a prominent American actor known for his versatile performances across a range of genres. He first caught the public's eye with a memorable supporting role in the cult classic Dazed and Confused (1993), which many consider his breakout moment. Following this, he appeared in several supporting roles in films such as Angels in the Outfield (1994) and Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation (1994), but it was his leading role in the legal drama A Time to Kill (1996) that propelled him to stardom.
