Sosie Ruth Bacon, born on March 15, 1992, is a talented American actress known for her diverse roles in film and television. She made her acting debut at the young age of 10 in the film Loverboy (2005), which was directed by her father, the acclaimed actor Kevin Bacon. Her performance caught the attention of James Duff, the producer of the popular series The Closer, who recommended her for the role of Charlie, the niece of Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson, in the show's fifth season. Despite her parents' initial reservations about her pursuing acting, Sosie took the opportunity and appeared in four episodes alongside her mother, Kyra Sedgwick, who portrayed Chief Johnson.
