Franklin and Friends brings a fresh take on the beloved characters from the classic Franklin the Turtle series of children's books by Paulette Bourgeois and Brenda Clark. Produced by Nelvana, this CGI animated show serves as a reboot of the original Franklin series, delighting a new generation of viewers. Announced in September 2010, it premiered on Treehouse TV on March 4, 2011, featuring a modernized version of the iconic theme song, "Hey It's Franklin." The series later made its way to U.S. audiences via Nickelodeon on February 13, 2012, followed by a debut on Nick Jr. and in Singapore on Mediacorp.
