A chance childhood meeting ignites a lifelong passion for astronomy in Mira Kinohata, who bonds with dreamer Ao Manaka. Their brief encounter leaves Mira inspired, especially when she learns of a star named after her but none for Ao. Determined to honor him, she vows to discover a new asteroid in his name. Years later, as a high school student at Hoshizaki Academy, Mira joins the newly merged Earth Sciences Club, where she unexpectedly reconnects with Ao.
