Returning to Louisiana for the holidays, Jolie dreads the thought of running into her ex, Foster Burke, especially since he's bringing a new girlfriend to the family’s Christmas Market. To avoid the uncomfortable reunion, her best friend Naomi proposes a plan: bring along her unreliable brother Jack, who has no holiday plans. As a professional web designer, Jolie is skeptical, but Naomi, a lawyer, drafts a Christmas contract to provide them both with benefits—a buffer against awkward encounters and a platform to promote Jack’s novel. Little do they know, the contract opens doors to unexpected feelings and revelations.
