Josh Fosse, in his twenties and stuck in a rut, is grappling with a breakup, overdue rent, and a lack of direction. As he pursues a career as an app reviewer, he stumbles upon i-Lived, a self-help app. Initially, his life takes a dramatic turn—he finds love and lands a dream job. Believing his success stems from his own efforts, he disconnects from the app, only to see everything crumble. When he reconnects, the app's demands push him into morally questionable territory, challenging his ethics for the sake of success.
