Sylva Koscina, born Silvija Košćina on August 22, 1933, in Yugoslavia, was a prominent Italian actress celebrated for her captivating performances in the film industry. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayal of Iole, the beloved bride of Hercules, played by Steve Reeves, in the iconic films Hercules (1958) and its sequel Hercules Unchained (1960). Koscina's charm and talent made her a memorable figure in the world of cinema during the late 1950s and 1960s.
In addition to her role in the Hercules series, she showcased her versatility by playing opposite Hollywood star Paul Newman in the 1968 film The Secret War of Harry Frigg, where she brought depth and allure to her character.
