Dan Levy
Biography
Dan Levy launched his television career as a co-host of MTV Canada's flagship program, MTV Live. He subsequently co-wrote, co-hosted, and co-produced the acclaimed show The After Show, along with its variations, including The Hills: The After Show and The City: Live After Show. In addition to these roles, he created and starred in his own MTV Christmas special, Daniel Levy's Holi-Do's & Don'ts, and co-hosted events such as the MTV Movie Awards Red Carpet, the X-Factor pre-show, and national coverage of the Vancouver Olympic Games for CTV. Levy's acting credits feature the Canadian series Degrassi: The Next Generation and the thriller Off Line, with his film debut alongside Tina Fey in Admission.
In 2013, Levy co-founded Not A Real Company Productions with his father Eugene Levy and partners Andrew Barnsley and Fred Levy. Their first major project was the half-hour comedy Schitt's Creek, developed for CBC/ITV. Serving as co-creator, co-executive producer, and writer, Levy also starred in the series alongside Eugene Levy, Catherine O'Hara, and Chris Elliott. Schitt's Creek gained widespread acclaim and contributed significantly to Levy's recognition as a talented writer and actor in the television industry.
