Chieko Baisho (倍賞 千恵子, Baishō Chieko), born on June 29, 1941, is a celebrated Japanese actress and singer, renowned for her captivating performances in both film and television.
Her most iconic role came as Sakura in the beloved "Otoko wa Tsurai yo" series, which spanned from 1969 to 1995, earning her a special place in the hearts of audiences across Japan.
