Gwei Lun-Mei (Chinese: 桂綸鎂; pinyin: Guì Lúnměi; born December 25, 1983) is a prominent actress from Taiwan whose career took off in 2002 when she made her film debut in "Blue Gate Crossing." Her talent was further showcased in subsequent projects, but it was her role in Jay Chou's 2007 film "Secret" that catapulted her to fame. In this romantic drama, Gwei portrayed Lu Hsiao-yu, a character that resonated with audiences and solidified her status in the Taiwanese film industry.
In 2012, Gwei delivered a compelling performance in "Girlfriend, Boyfriend," a coming-of-age narrative that follows the complex relationships of three teenagers as they transition from adolescence to adulthood.
