Biography

Michael John Douglas, widely recognized as Michael Keaton, was born on September 5, 1951. He is a celebrated American actor, distinguished by a diverse array of performances that have earned him numerous accolades, including a Primetime Emmy Award, two Golden Globe Awards, and nominations for both an Academy Award and a BAFTA Award. In 2016, he was honored as an Officer of the Order of Arts and Letters in France.

Keaton first captured audiences with his comedic talents in films such as Night Shift (1982), Mr. Mom (1983), and Beetlejuice (1988). However, he achieved iconic status portraying the titular superhero in Batman (1989) and its sequel, Batman Returns (1992). His filmography includes a variety of roles in Clean and Sober (1988), Much Ado About Nothing (1993), The Paper (1994), and Jackie Brown (1997). He also lent his voice to animated hits such as Cars (2006), Toy Story 3 (2010), and Minions (2015).
