Tim Colceri, born on June 15, 1951, is a well-known American actor and comedian. He gained significant recognition for his performance in Stanley Kubrick's 1987 film Full Metal Jacket, where he portrayed the memorable door gunner who famously exclaimed, "Get some!"—a line later referenced in the 2008 film Tropic Thunder—and also delivered the poignant remark, "Ain't war hell?" Initially, Colceri was set to take on the role of Gunnery Sergeant Hartman but was ultimately replaced by R. Lee Ermey. His work in Full Metal Jacket remains one of the highlights of his career, showcasing his ability to deliver impactful lines with authenticity.
