Brian Bosworth

Biography

Brian Keith Bosworth, born on March 9, 1965, and popularly known as "the Boz," is an American actor and former professional football linebacker. He played for three seasons in the National Football League (NFL) with the Seattle Seahawks. During his time at the University of Oklahoma, Bosworth gained recognition not only for his exceptional skills on the field but also for his bold personality, earning him the Dick Butkus Award twice. He was chosen by the Seahawks as a first-round pick in the 1987 NFL supplemental draft; however, his time in the league was unfortunately limited due to injuries. Following his retirement from football, Bosworth transitioned into acting, carving out a niche for himself in the entertainment industry. His contributions to college football were honored in 2015 when he was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame.
