Biography
Carla Gugino, born on August 29, 1971, is a prominent American actress. She gained initial attention with her roles in the films Troop Beverly Hills (1989) and This Boy's Life (1993). Her career took off when she portrayed Ingrid Cortez in the beloved Spy Kids trilogy between 2001 and 2003. Gugino's versatility continued to shine in various notable films, including her appearances as Rebecca Hutman in Night At The Museum (2006), Laurie Roberts in American Gangster (2007), and Sally Jupiter in Watchmen (2009). Additionally, she showcased her talent in roles such as Dr. Vera Gorski in Sucker Punch (2011), Emma Gaines in San Andreas (2015), and Jessie Burlingame in Gerald's Game (2017).
Beyond film, Gugino has also made a mark on television. She was the lead in the crime drama series Karen Sisco (2003) and starred in the science fiction series Threshold (2005–2006).
