Masami Nagasawa
Biography
Masami Nagasawa (長澤まさみ) is a prominent Japanese actress affiliated with Toho Entertainment. Renowned for her versatile performances, she has captivated audiences in a variety of acclaimed films and television series, such as "Crying Out Love in the Center of the World," "Nada Sousou," "Dragon Zakura," and "Proposal Daisakusen." In 2006, she completed her education at Horikoshi High School, which has produced many notable entertainers.
Affectionately nicknamed "Ma-chan," she is also referred to as "Maa-tan" by her friend and fellow actor Yamashita Tomohisa. On her radio program, she playfully introduces herself as "Gasawa," a moniker inspired by her fans' affection.
Masami hails from a sports-oriented family; her father, Kazuaki Nagasawa, previously served as the manager of the J. League team, Júbilo Iwata.
