David Chiang Da-Wei (姜大衛), born on June 29, 1947, in Suzhou, Jiangsu, is a prominent figure in the Hong Kong film industry, known for his multifaceted roles as an actor, director, and producer. Often referred to simply as David Chiang, he rose to fame in the 1970s as a leading martial arts star after being signed by the renowned Shaw Brothers Studio.
