Biography
Lori Petty, born on October 14, 1963, is a versatile American actress, director, and screenwriter known for her dynamic performances across film and television. She began her cinematic journey with a role in the 1990 comedy Cadillac Man, quickly establishing herself as a prominent figure in Hollywood. Petty garnered attention for her memorable performances in iconic films such as Point Break (1991), A League of Their Own (1992), and Free Willy (1993). Her portrayal of the titular character in Tank Girl (1995) showcased her ability to take on unconventional roles.
In 1996, Petty created and starred in the short-lived Fox sitcom Lush Life, demonstrating her range beyond film. Throughout her later career, she continued to work in various independent films, further exploring her craft.
